Dsarker and Angle added to roster

Kulpamens, the bath requires some management to make sure it isn't filled too high, but it's fairly easy. What you do is designate a pond area over the bath (in the z-level of the rest of the hallway) and wait until the dwarfs fill it with 3/7 water. Then remove the pond designation. Now it wont evaporate, dwarfs still path thru it, and when they do all contaminants are removed from them. Also, dwarfs will try to fish out of it, with some success (makes you wonder what washes off the dwarfs...)

Some plans for the future: I'm the Dwarf equivalent of Lenin, so who will be Stalin? (Probably frigidwolf or nanomage, but nanomage already wants to be the equivalent of Trotsky.) Also, if my dwarf dies, he must be placed in a glass coffin in the middle of the meeting hall, to show that whoever is the current leader still continues the spirit of the revolution.

If none of the others step up to the plate, I'd do Urist McStalin in a heartbeat.

Bulid a floor over entire world, then collapse it. Eventually some say it's a doomsday leaver of lava flow :)

Never mind with bathroom, I'd already ended turn, so I'll just have to edit story, and post it here. And to be honestly, you almost died HugoLuman during a cork colapse, but fortunately it only stunned you :)

We're in a volcano. I'd say lava superweapon! :D But nothing ludicrously unrealistic like the whole giant sprinkler system please.

Uh oh I wonder what caused the collapse  :o

If we have a volcano, that will be an easy way of disposing of nobles.

Cage trap their entire room, cause a collapse so they are knocked unconscious, build a floor out to the volcano, put cage on floor, remove floor, rinse and repeat.

Or build a bedroom over volcano, make floor a retracting bridge, and make it a burrow and assign the noble. Pull lever.

Actually, the elves shun all the filthy infidels who do not worship Gaea as they do. Maybe we shall invade them, and then fight their guerrillas in the mountains for a few years until we are forced to give up get bored.

Anyway, anyone think we should use a hack to get non-dwarven immigrants? I think it may help our story, cause it shows how we spread revolution to the rest of the world.

6th Limestone
Iton Noberush, still acts strange, she says she have to work. Well, she is a bowyer. Maybe she needs a bowyer workshop.
And that's it. What does she needs now? She's becoming to act like a leech, I give her something and all she wants is more.

A silk cloth, what a luxury material, we don't have such. But maybe there is not too late, maybe trades aren't leaving so soon. Just make her stop screaming, please.

15th limestone
I think we'll loose her. There is no way to me to get a silk cloth, traders didn't had it.

18th Limestone

Another migrants. What a great glory of our great revolution we have to have.

Bim Ostdodok, Farmer
Thob Kodonul, Beekeper
Shorast Kehiden, Wood Burner – we'll have to think about another job for him
Oddom Sarveshdalzat, Gem cutter – very nice, we have workshop for him
Rovod Dastotmeng, Woodcutter – and his great silver battle axe
Tholtig Inodkiddir, Armorer
Aban Udilidrath, Carpenter – he also have a nice axe, and I don't know why he says he can very well walk on crutch. Maybe long ago he lost his leg and it grew back.
Dodok Delethled, Metalcrafter
Etur Oshurlolor, Butcher

22nd Limestone

There is so much to dig, that I don't know if I'll make it before year ends. Everyone, who have hands, grab a pick and dig.
Here are my plans for last half a year of my administration:
 - Make enough bedrooms, like 48,
 - Start a construction of waterfall near meeting hall, so dwarfs will be clean.
 - And repair my mistake with smelting hall, start operation “fuck the flyers... and imps”

2nd Sandstone
Dig dig my comrades

22nd Sandstone

Iton had became berserk. I'll miss her. Had to quick fond a militia and bring her down.
Unfortunate Iton managed to struck down Zasit Ganerib, a great axedwarf. Big loss for our commune. But there came few other dwarfs, wrestlers. Even though they had hard time to deal with her. She had to be really mad.

After this situation I had to quickly manage a hospital for wounded and a graveyard for those who died.

I hope only that all of wounded will come back to health fast.
I could predict that, I could predict that and prepare my militia.

12th Timber
Better take care of those corpses.

14th Timber
Better look at it yourself.

Not that schmuck.  I'll have to get rid of him fast.

And again I have 18 idlers. So lets smooth some stone now.

17th Timber
“I want to speak with this fort leader.” - liaison spoked contemptuously

“Here I am.” - I spoked him back.

“What? You? When I was here last time it was HugoLuman. Did he died from his stupid ideas?”

“Nope, he is still alive and advise well to our community, even works with us. But for this year I'm the Fort Leader”

“Those are the dumbest thing I ever heard of. A leader works with workdwarfs?! And a Fort Leader who changes, there is no way to build a stable community with this. Do you want to ruin Kings latest outpost?! Take me to HugoLuman, I need to explain few things to him” - liaison twisted his face in grimace

“Our fort is prospecting great. We don't need your ways of managing, as they're ways of Llamas and Elephants!!!”

“Dwarves had died for much less than you said here! I only hope that you'd fulfilled King's demands. Take me to HugoLuman, you “kind of leader”, and then take care of our caravan.”

“You can take care of yourself Liaison. Dwarfs will guide your way, and watch out for traps, and magma so you'll won't burn your beard! Now, I have to dig.”

“Humpf... I don't foretell a great future to this fort, and on you Kulpamens I'll take special report” - liaison mumbled as he walked away

Anyway, I bought from them some wood logs. Some seeds of sweet pods and pig tails. So the shadow of drinking same old wine never show upon us. Some silk cloth, which I don't think we'll use for luxury clothes, but I don't want a situation like this with Iton ever occur again. And finally cats, I bought all they had. Although migrants brought with them two cats, which even have one kitten, but that's not enough. We need a lot of cats, a very lot of.... you know what for. And cheese, to cheer everybody up. I like cheese.

Couldn't find papers with last year demands from Liaison on HugoLumans desk so I gave them only some crafts.
I cant figure out what those dwarfs are encrusting. I ordered to encrust finished goods like toys and crafts. Gems are disappearing and crafts aren't encrusted. Strange some kind of corruption?

19th Timber
Time to cut off a cork and stop the lava flow in channels, when I can start securing it to “fuck the flyers”.

Liaison and his nobles demands some sheets and other stuff. He said this is kind of ultimate or something. Ulimate order?? Does it mean that they won't come ever again? Don't get this lad at all.

There is an mistake in my cork plan, level above I thought was top, there is bridge that sustains cork. So I'll have to build a wall that no dwarf won't enter a cork, during it's cutting off. I know my dwarfs want to do it very much. But it would end probably in magma bath.

2nd Moonstone

It's finally time to cut the cork. But maybe I'll build a floor around the edge so blast don't blow out digger into lava.

There she goes.

15th Moonstone
Magma is evaporating so slow. I had never to do with magma, but didn't have idea that it can take so long.

1st Obsidian
Operation “fuck the flyers... “ had been completed. Now area looks secured to me. Here are sketches of levels.
Top level

2nd level

3rd level

and canal.
http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/1166/s351stobsidian.png

1st Granite
A year had came to an end. At least most of my plans had succeeded. Smelter hall is secured, not exactly as I wanted but enough. Only flaw that I made was use of alunite flood gate. It melted in contact with magma. I know how to fix it, but my year is over. You can make a pond here
So the magma will change to obsidian, and block the canal. Open second flood gate by this leaver

Magma will flood this area, and you can change a flood gate to basalt one.

Though this will suspend work of smelters and forges. There is no need to haste with this, because canal is secured with three fortifications.

One level of 24 bedrooms with smoothed walls is ready. And second one needs only to be smoothed.  There is also one level only that had been only dug out. I'll attach blueprints for quickfort.

You can also finish the bathroom near meeting hall with well. Started by HugoLuman.

Here is deep disposal. It needs a bridge, or floor and a bridge.

Here is graveyard on level 140.

I also built kennels to train our dogs, as they breed so well. Second depo went down.

I'd forgot to let the cats out. So please do it, they can't breed in captivity and on spring it could be a problem.

Pastures are on west side.

Stocks are full of food and drinks. Everything else You'll figure out my successor.

From my personal thoughts: Once we'll grew in force, we'll have kill this nasty Liaison :)
