Tendencies which still fail to produce offspring.
Why should it matter if they produce offspring or not?

About which topic, Homosexuality? Those views are based on social interaction, the facts I were talking about were about other topics

I think Cracked did a article on some gay insects.

Why should it matter if they produce offspring or not?

Well, that is sorta the point of life, especially for non sapient critters.

There's a difference between the religion being bad and people being douchebags. If these guys are mocking you because your uncle is gay and you don't have a problem with it, then they're being douchebags. If they're drawing pentagrams in his blood and attempting to use his soiled kidneys as a sacrifice to the Immortal One, then there's probably a problem with the religion. Probably.

NINJAS, CEASE THY FLUTTERING

Edit: Some stuff was old hat because of the ninjas, so I pulled it out.

I believe he/she was talking about how it's actual state law probably wherever he/she lives for gay men to not be able to marry, not any specific people persecuting his/her uncle.
In which case, I would expect the state to have a pretty darn good reason for that, as they should for everything. But they probably don't, because politicians.

In my opinion, it's too taking your religion too far if you're influencing people beyond the occasional "hey, come to church XYZ some time, you might like it." But, as always, there are people who think otherwise, and blah blah blah democracy blah blah blah.

I was making a reference to Darwinism based on an assumption.

Pardon the disruption.  Carry on.

The point of life is the survival of the species, not necessarily the individual.

I don't see why people argue about this so much. As far as I know the amount of religious people and their fervor go down every year... This is an argument that will solve itself. Unless something horrible happens like a second dark age.

Obviously no one would be forced to go to a church, just as much as they shouldn't be forced to stay away from a church.

I think the discussion's already dead.  Spartan-67 failed to produce the scientific evidence he claims to have, so we're going to just go around in circles about various aspects of religion, opinions, beliefs, and cheeseburgers.

Ah true. Also, looking at it, it seems much Homosexual behavior does in fact seem to increase mating chances.

This is actually not that true. I am relatively certain religious participation is going up at this time and not down.

What scientific evidence are you talking about, 2+2=4.
