I was at the crowns side then. remember how during the colony wars between England, France and Spain. England gave pirates documents allowing them to pirate Spanish ships and they were also supplied by the Brits. Ever heard of sir Franchis Drake, the pirate knight?

It may be worth noting that I did switch my character's allegiance to the crown, albeit a soft support.

We're assuming the Crown is one with the money currently. We're loyal to those who can pay! Or in instances where 2 sides can pay, the side that pays the most.

Prelude

I, Vice-Roy Joseph di Perranno, right-hand of King Gregorius VI the Just, heir of late King Alexander III, Right hand of our Lord in the Vhistland, hereby declare that:


-The recent rebellion is an insult in the face of the Crown and the very face of God himself and can therefor not go without retaliation. All rebels are to be considered heretics denying the supreme power of our Lord and the rightfull place of the Crown as the manifestation of His will on earth.
-All who have refused to declare allegiance to the Crown shall be considered rebels.
-All rebels are to report to an imperial garrison post by midnight of next week. All rebels that have not reported themselves by that time are to be considered outlaws. Their possessions will be confiscated in name of the Crown and to protect them shall be considered treason.
-The cities of Mörn and Denskhaben are to open their gates to the Imperial forces. They shall be fined a sum sufficient to cover the damage dealt to the imperial garrisons and will be placed under direct supervision of the Crown.
-A reward of 500 forints will be awarded to each person that aids in the arresting of rebel leaders and nobles, to be increased as fit for particularly important or dangerous persons.
-Whoever wishes to aid in the liberation of Mörn and Denskhaben, in the case that they resist this decree, can report at an imperial garrison post. They will receive a weapon and a sum of 300 forints as compensation.

The empire:
The imperial garrisons of Cessfenn and Ösbord, allong with the former garrison of Densbord, have dispatch an army of in total 2.000 heavily equipped men (1700 men infantry, 300 cavalry), equipped with at least 100 pieces of artillery, which is moving towards Denskbord.
At Denskhahn and Perrione, a fleet of 10 frigates, 3 ships of the line and 30 cogs is being prepared to blockade the Mörnagd.
The former garrison of Mörn has taken up camp in the west end of the Mörnplad.
Small regiments of 500 men each have been dispatched to rebelling duchies in the Hohnfrem, Ochsfrem and Denskfrand.


Rebbels:
The walls of Mörn and Denskbord have been hastily fortified. After plundering of the garrisons there, a total of 60 pieces of artillery is available for the defense of each town. The total amount of armed rebels is as of yet not known.
Smuggling opperations have started supplying Denskbord and Mörn from Perrione and small harbor towns in the Hohnfrand.
Minor riots have broken out in Perrione and Randsmed, but have been suppressed by the local garrisons for now.

Actions: Pyrus begins mustering and arming his loyal forces in Rindbronn and scouting out the Imperial Garrison to discover it's strength.

At the same time, he incites riots in the nearby cities of Rindreht and Wodesbarth to draw out Imperial strength from Rindbronn itself.
