Roll to Strife! Turn 40: Lolnope the RNG is invincible.

Derek:
Run upstairs and throw the book into the sprite.
[3] Despite trying not to, you somehow manage to fall flat on your face anyway.
Luckily, the book flies out of your arms in exactly the right angle to hit the KERNELSPRITE.

The sprite suddenly begins another short transformation.
It now looks like the ghost of a dead Komato.

Richard:
>Put out the gorram candles. Break the things if necessary, and don't stop until every single one of them is out.
[6] In your frustration, you throw the cake at the fire as hard as you can.
It seems like the fire has weakened the infrastructure of your floor, because it starts crubling upon impact, burrying the cake beneath the rubble.
At least that took care of the fire.

You then feel...
You don't know what that feeling is, but if Stephen was still alive he'd have described it as a disturbance in the FORCE.
Arnold:
>Arnold: Wait, there was that demo. The filesize didn't seem too huge, and you have the internet connection of royalty. Download that too.
[5] Oh yeah, that new SBURB game!
You quickly download it, complete with Gristorrent and stuff.

Matt:
>CAPTCHALOGUE the COIN, then LOOK AFTER my FRIENDS.
You captchalogue the COIN (7) and check PESTERCHUM.
Derek is still online, but he hasn't talked for a while.
You wonder why he'd leave without logging off?

Mick:
>Mick: Inspect downstairs.
[4] You check the floor you're on.
Your GRANDMA is nowhere to be seen.
But then again, that means nothing.
But still, nobody seems to be in the kitchen...
Enrique:
>Inspect around the house!
[5]The house seems to be alright.
However, you notice footsteps leading away from your front door in the mud.
Either your dad has decided to do some jogging or somebody stole his shoes and left.

Grizzlysprite is still following you around.
Creep.

Roll to Strife! Turn 41: If you all were prime numbers, this woud be your sum
« Reply #764 on: August 28, 2011, 11:40:05 am »

Richard:
>Dig out the cake and inspect it for any changes.
You go back down into your Sis' room, and start heaving away the rubble.
Eventually you find the cake, slightly dented and dusty.
The candles have gone out too, finally.
Arnold:
>Arnold: Open that game while waiting for Gang Garrison 2 to finish downloading. Also add more random people on Pesterchum.
The game asks you to connect to a server- or clientplayer first.
Because LP appears to have disconnected, and you don't know any other people, you look for somebody else to chat up.
You check up on sburbgame.skaia.net/progress
Apparently somebody calling themselves beatboxRunabout has cleared the first stage of the game recently.
You add him to your friendlist immediately.
Enrique:
>Ask Grizzlysprite to stop following me!...Respectfully
You tell him(it?) to stay the fuck away from you. Respectfully.
It doesn't work.
Mick:
>Mick: Loot Kitchen
[4] You captchalogue all the COOKIES.
All of them.

You also take the ROLLING PIN.
That should turn your later STRIFES against your grandma to your advantage.
Matt:
> TYPE DEREK repeatedly into the COMPUTER. Maybe his PESTERCUM is set to NOTIFY ON CALLOUT.

Derek:
Look through a nearby window.
You do so.
Where once was the wide expanses of your rural home area now stands a thickly wooded forest.
Spoiler: Spritelog (click to show/hide)
You only half-heartedly listen, because you notice that you are being pestered again.
