Sburb RTD

For the two people out there who don't know what Homestuck is, it's an interactive webcomic animation thing by Andrew Hussie. It is (or used to be) a story about four preteen kids playing a reality warping game called Sburb, and the resulting shenanigans. It is infamous for the mindscrewy plot (aka weird plot shit), time travel (aka weird time shit) and internet Trolls (aka... Trolls).

This game will be based on Homestuck, and will similarly involve a bunch of Bay12ers attempting to do the same via RTD rules.

Gameplay and fluff:

Posting actions will be done the same way as in homestuck: a > followed by the actual suggestion (since the action isn't guaranteed to happen, it's more like a suggestion anyway).
E.g. >Do an acrobatic fucking pirouette

Spoiler: Action rolls (click to show/hide)

Action rolls, or rolls to do something, use the standard RTD rules. So a 1 is an eic failure, a 2 a regular failure, etc. Except I might consider rerolls if the action is hilarious and/or punny enough.

Spoiler: Combat rolls (click to show/hide)

Combat rolls, or rolls to strife, well, determine your success in combat. Duh. There will be no Stats per se, but players will recieve combat modifiers depending on the circumstances. E.g. fighting unarmed against a bunch of ogers will result in a huge penalty, while bashing on a lowly imp with the Infinity Plus One-Whatever will result in a bonus as well as a guilt trip for ganking the poor thing. Success depends both on your rolls as well on the rolls of your opponents.
Combat actions always begin with an A (e.g. Aggrieve, Abscond, Abjure)

A sylladex is a type of inventory. However, management of your sylladex is complex and varies from person to person, or rather, what mode they're using. Hilarity ensues.

The medium is, to make it short, the place where the Players of Sburb spend most of their time. It's too complex to put it into one post, so just look it up here.

• Chumroll (incl. 2  letter acronym)
• Sylladex mode (wouldn't  be Sburb without an incredibly complex inventory system, right? Any way  to sort or retrieve your items from inventory depends on this)
• Strife  Specibi (Any family of object would suffice. For instance, Stickkind or  Backpackkind. If it's a very strange one, like Videogamekind, also  include how it's supposed to damage stuff)
• Guardian (Whoever is your character's caretaker)
• Hobbies (Duh)
• Associated Material (Ya know, amber, uranium, etc.)
• Mythological  role (We'll also need heroes of space and time, but I'll choose those  randomly. So send in a different role, and your preference for those two  [e.g. Wizard of Mind, time preferred, space indifferent]. I won't tell  you which role you get until I have to though, for the suspense)
• Optional  Stuff (Like your ultimate weapon, your denizen, or the name of your  planet. I won't guarantee that I'll take those suggestions, but it can't  hurt)
