Cloisterfancied Community Fort

Cloisterfancied, set up to prevent Goblin advance towards the Mountainhomes of The Dike of Ships!



Diary of Expedition Leader - Lor Robererith - 1st Granite

We arrived today. It's taken us months to get here, and we've been dreading ambush since Zuglar and Adil lost their weapons in that cliff incident... eurgh. Well, we're alive. And we're here. It's temperate, slightly warmer than usual back at home for this time of year, and it's quite green here, though there aren't as many trees as we were promised.

I wanted to call the it The Fortification of Watchfullness. That's what it'll be. That's what were doing here.

But no, the Mountainhome says it must be called Cloisterfancied. We cannot break from Dwarven tradition! Sigh.

Never mind. We're alive, and that's more than enough to be glad of, and more than expected. I'm enclosing a list of everyone's information and our arrival stocks here, for any future reference.

Ok, I know I said 'Community Fort' but... I've not got the time to go and take pictures of everyone and wait for orders and everything, so it'll probably just be a story I suppose. Oh well, should be fun.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...
