And most likely fake. As far as I know, self-fueled perpetual motion does not exist. :)
And the logic defying build certainly doesn't help convincing me that it's real.

Hey, we already have the capability for anti-gravity, which puts out more energy than it consumes, so why not this?

Bleh. Made out of wood. Apply Magma.

Bleh. Made out of wood. Apply Magma.

Dwarven quantum physics allow us to create such dense constructions that magma no longer has any affect on them.

Such as, say, a wooden door.

Uh yeah it says so in the article...  It's an optical illusion, the awesome part is how well it's made.

MyLittlePonyBuiltMyHotRod, this is your first warning. I would like to direct you to read our forum's FAQ and posting guidelines before posting again. Specifically we don't use swear words here, and your picture of Stalin riding a Year3 Limited Edition Starflower inside a German concentration camp was both upsetting and historically inaccurate.

I think the video is meant to be more of an optical illusion rather than actual perpetual motion. However, as for whether such a thing can actually be pulled off or not you maaaaay want to check this out.

It's a very interesting read regarding the subject that may put the matter to rest finally.

Nice! If only he'd got the water from an eternally replenishing aquifer...

Now, here's the same thing in Lego:

"Most likely" fake?? Of curse it's fake, you can't get more out than you put in, the end.

Such close-minded thinking will get us nowhere. Think of the people who said "mankind can't flu, the end." or "there will never be humans on the moon, the end."

Or else, someone managed to destroy physics as we know it with a bunch of balsa wood and a pitcher of colored water. Honestly, I'd tend to assume it is fake.

Nothing is impossible. To our current knowledge, we can't do it, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
