So I was just playing in my new fortress and some farmer got a strange mood. He went and grabbed some wood and sat in the workshop(Craftsdwarf) I checked what he needed and it said "Tree... Life..." I tried figuring it out but whatever Life is I don't have any in my fortress. Anybody know what it is?

I don't think thats it. He has access to plenty of wood and he only took one log.

He probably needs something else then. Hold your "q" on the workshop and it will cycle through requests. There's a possibility that he wants to use a specific kind of wood; not likely, but check his preferences for any wood or trees.

I think they'll continue to say they need X even if they already have all they want. Agreed with Lectorog, check the rest of his requests and see if there's something else.

Lectorog you were right he needed wood. For some reason he was set to a burrow I deleted it and he began construction :O The thing was an alder bracelet. It had an engraving of a hydra striking down an elf. He made it from one log I was pretty dissapointed. Anyway thanks for helping

Next time, if he ever wants stone, you can use the dwarf to clear out your fort and get rid of those annoying stones everywhere.
