It would be as dumb as introducing latrines and breathing skills. No one wants to build that shit.

I actually annoyed the hell out of my pen-and-paper group when they once complained that there wasn't enough realism. Well they got their realism when their mage was forced to cast levitate on the entire group and let the wind carry them because their walking stats were "too low" :D

Just imagine, instead of a boring (and dangerous) ol' water or magma moat you can have one of nicely warm sewage. Won't freeze if you have enough producers and very few creatures want to swim it.
