What would happen if one of the guy dies? What would happen if they are completely peaceful and they think death is the most horrifying thing you can do? Even if they weren't peaceful, what if they only death if it's the other guys and not their own?!

Staring at them directly causes constant shifting, and it is noticed that if you catch them still for a moment, then its easily noticed that they are not physically holding the blades. They are about the same size as the average height guard standing there, pale orange skined, and while they have two arms, like noted they are not using them to hold the weaponry. Perhaps Psychokinetic?
The surroundings are generally arboreal, with a few odd patches of empty ground scattered about.
