"Well, why did you not check for life first?"
"We barely have enough for ta fuel. Once we are safely secure in our income, we'll be more 'splorer like and careful, ya. Might as well use the sensors for what they're for, right?"
The leader ponders this. He then stands up and ends the conversation thus: "Take Zik with you. He should be a decent fighter of sorts. Zik was the guard to the left of your groundcraft, with the better-kept weaponry."

[Fniff]

Right, let's send a signal to the big guys about a new species. Take Zik too.
