Hey, im sorry for the bad english, but that is what is happening:
Im trying to run the game, but when I start it, dont go.
The game is openning but stay in a black screen, and a music beggin, but after few minutes the computer take a "BLUE ERROR". It dont works.. anyone knows how can I repair it?

My computer have the minimun requiriments!

I am guessing that the "blue error" is what is also known as the "Blue Screen of Death"?

Do you know what information this blue error screen displayed? That information could help to locate the problem.

You have to post the exact STOP error that the Blue Screen gives you.

Also, there might be some people here who speak your language. What language do you speak?

I speak Portuguese.
The error is in Portuguese, it will be a little hard to translate..

Try using Portuguese then. I don't speak it, but someone may be able to translate for themselves and have a better chance of knowing what exactly you are trying to say. You could also include your own translation for our convenience, I would just think it'd be easier for you to compose your thoughts in your native language and translate when it's all done.

Questions:
What operation system do you use?

Do you have a graphics card, or graphics acceleration of some kind? I'm pretty sure Dwarf Fortress will not run without one, even though the graphics are not 3D. I'm not totally sure because this isn't listed in the minimum requirements.

Have you modified the init.txt file located in the game folder\data\init at all?

Are you running in Windowed mode or Fullscreen mode?

Your monitor is capable of resolutions like 640x300 and 800x600?

Are you using one ATi graphics card and two monitors?

On a 9800XT using two monitors, the DF windows stays black on the primary monitor (and it crashes when you try to switch to fullscreen on the secondary).

In my case, the "fix" is to change display properties (= only use one monitor) for playing DF.
