Silverfires the Second (.25, open) - Goblin Attacks Daily!

OK, I'm starting this over again after the last thread kinda fell apart. I will start as the first overseer for the first year. There is the matter of the embark party though:

  • Mechanic: Aussieevil
  • Miner:cappstv
  • Miner:Lafiel
  • Woodworker:Savolainen5
  • Mason/Stonecrafter:Kate
  • Doctor:SirAaronIII
  • Trader:Jeeves

Turn Order:

  • Thatdude

To be dorfed:
  • thegoatgod_pan (butcher/bonecarver/surgeon, named Damien)

Could I have a bone carver/butcher with adequate surgeon please?  Call him something evil...say Hannibal or Damian, something that suggests fell moods are on the horizon.

I'll get the other miner, and the third turn if it's available. Haven't played in a long while but I'll do my worst best.

Also, I'd like to know our situation first. Anything special we should be aware of? Like hordes of undead elves :D

In 250 seven laborers left their home to start a new safer outpost. For our site, they chose a site near Brazenclouds the Neutralization of Naughtiness, on the Hill of Confederacies.

Their story begins...

1st Granite 251
We've arrived at the site. The sound of the river comforts me a bit, but I am still nervous as I am to be the de facto leader of this small fort. First things first, I guess: I need to start digging for lodging and farms. I've never been one to boss people around, but here goes.

2nd Granite 251
I've designated a indentation in the hillside as a perfect entry area for the fortress. Preparations are already underway. Here comes a long year.
