« on: May 18, 2011, 04:35:17 pm »

From Wikipedia:
Quote
Phung Thi Chinh, a pregnant noble lady was the captain of a group of soldiers who were to protect the central flank of Nam Việt. She gave birth on the front line, and with her baby in one arm, and a sword in the other, continued to fight the battle.

It is a well-known fact that Nobility of SE Asia often intermingled (sex) with dwarrow-kind.

And by fact I mean completely untrue.

they are just there as extra meaty shields.

If a baby lives thru being born to one of my military dwarves I generally let it live out the rest of its life doing simple things. I think they would have been scarred enough as a youngster.

Hush little baby, listen to my song,
Mamma's gonna tan you a troll leather thong.
And if that thong don't menace with spikes,
Mamma's gonna kill you whatever you like...

Never.

I generally prefer battle to magma as a way of controlling defiant behavior.

Do you always look at it in ASCII?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.
