Roll to Survive Cerberus IV: Closed
« on: May 18, 2011, 03:49:19 pm »

The year: 3517. The place: Cerberus IV, an Earth-like planet, the fourth from a yellow dwarf in the Marduk system. It was colonized one thousand years ago, and has been forgotten for almost that long, for shortly after its original discovery all the colonization teams were wiped out by the native life.

But with the invasion of the Algodal, humanity has been exiled to the farthest reaches of the universe. For the past three centuries, mankind has been battling for their survival on Cerberus IV, and has been depleted to a single city of twenty thousand citizens in a massive bunker inside Corryn, the largest mountain on the planet... or so it was thought.

Pocket civilizations grew from starships that had crashed in the jungles and deserts of Cerberus IV, and managed to eke out their survival despite the monstrous creatures that inhabited the planet. Resources ran low, and two formerly warring nations discovered the bunker and raided it, scattering the survivors. Some were absorbed into other tribes. Many were killed. The rest stuck together to rebuild their society, take revenge on the raiders, and unify Cerberus IV.

You are one of those survivors.

Uhh, i'm too late. Well, put me on the waiting list then..
Not really. Taricus was already reserved. So you're in.

Well, too bad, that's all the slots. So set me up for the waiting list.

Name: Tarran Bris
Physical Details: Tarran is a 24 years old Male. He has black hair, and blue eyes. He wears dark clothes. He strangely has a thin tail (see below). He is thin, but agile.
Psychological Analysis: Tarran is a serious man, but he's somewhat friendly. Against enemies, he's scary. To friends, he's, uh, friendly. Tarran once took a dunk into a pond from his friends' dare, that's where he got his tail. He encountered a species of parasite that modifies it's host slightly, usually mutating the host, for better or for worse. Tarran is a trained combat assassin, and has killed many with just his blade.*Will fill in more background when I get more inspiration, hopefully my headache will be gone by then.*
Equipment:
Old Tungsten dagger (salvaged from military ship).
Black-colored Light Leather armor.

STATS
Strength: 5
Endurance: 4
Agility: 6
Intelligence: 3
Charisma: 3
((Please tell me we'll get more stats as we level up. The amount we have at the start is just horrid. :P))

SKILLS
Assassination.

Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

To answer your question...

-after each mission, the character can either raise a stat by one point up to the maximum of 9, or pick a new skill.-

Also, screw it, I'll let you in. I was debating on whether to go for five or six initially anyway. Now we're just waiting for Dwarmin to sign on and post his character.

Edit: ...you ninja, Taric. :p

Never mind, missed it Aaaaargh!
Oh well, waiting list.
Name: May Powlin (Time for a calendar pattern for my characters!)
Gender: Female
Physical Description:
Blond-haired with straight hair, upper waist-length. She has green eyes. She has white skin. Her right upper arm has a fairly large patch of scar on it- where she was stabbed by shrapnel during the raid on the mountain. She's 21 years old, and she wears a green short-sleeved shirt, and had been wearing (and still wears) a casual blue dress that's flexible enough to move quickly and easily in, and has an acacia shortsword that she had carved out of wood from the bunker.
Psychological:
She's socially adept enough, with an outgoing attitude. She has much patience, and she has an average intellect. She's very creative but has a horrible spatial sense, and can't be counted on for almost anything involving precise distances. When she needs to get something done though, she'll go to great lengths to get it done. And having trained hereself with it, she's fairly proficient with her sword.
Skill: Sword Training (+1 to attack rolls with swords)
Strength: 2
Endurance: 6
Agility: 3
Intellect: 4
Charisma: 6
