Lost Fishing Boats...Secret Propaganda action...
Yesky takes the 5 militia, the 15 Peasants and 150 units worth of food to the Luger Mountain Provinces and begins to hand out food. He promises more food, a good life and proper housing if they would plead their allegiance to Lord Lux. Slowly but surely the crowd is gathering around the benefactors and finally most of the populace are hearing with grave faces the Speech of Yesky. Minutes later however another group of villagers approach, in their wake the militias of Lord Luitger. They try to calm the people down and do their best to stop them from leaving but it is too late...people Start to leave the Luger Mountain Province....
gained 55 Population. Lost 150 Units of Food.I take 5 of the Militia, 5 peasants, and 50 food with me well I set off north. I will meet with the Jormungandrs and offer them a gift of food and a offer of alliance, or at least a trade pact. Well I am there, I will find out the family structure of the Jormungandrs, maybe to see if the leader has a daughter or sister I can marry.
After days of travelling you finally see smoke on the horizon and as you approach you stumble upon upon a small stone walled port town. Finally by nightfall you reach the gates. After marking your case the guard lets you grudingly in and leads you to an enormous Longhouse made of wood and stone. you enter a great warm hall filled with smoke. At the end of it sits an enormous bearded man barely visible against the smoke.....
One of the people closest to the end of the hall, an old man ,with stubby yellow teeth and a crooked grin, looks at your party doubtfully. The rest of the hall remains dreadfully quiet as a hundred people stare at you. Finally the old man opens his mouth
Ye have mead?a little bit confused you shake your head and answer:
no but several barrels of Ale.silence, suddenly the Old Man turns around and stands on his table.
Thei hav' Ale!The Hall erupts into raucuos cheers and you are bid to enter. The old man leads you to the end of the hall where the Jarl has taken place. He is truly and enormous man. About 2,10 m tall and you could swear almost as muscular as an ox he looks like the incarnation of their war god. His cold grey eyes stare at you for a moment then his frown turns into a broad smile and his voice roars through the whole hall
BE MY GUEST IMPERIAL! Share Meat and Mead with me...Thralls (clearly of imperial origin) bring tablets overburdened with mead horns and meat. You sit next to the Jarl and after he takes a enormous draft from a horn the size of an elephant horn from the southlands he hands it over to you. You barely manage to hold the whole thing, yet alone drink more than a little gulp. Raucuos Laughter nearly deafens you as the Jormungandrs see that you try your best. You try to start a talk about a trade agreement but are cut off by the Jarl
Here in my Longhouse, you first drink and feast and tomorrow we will talk about trade and money! You try to drink as few as possible but you are forced to drink a horn with the Jarl, with his personal guards and friends and then with his daughters...
_____
THE NEXT MORNING
your head is swirling with images of depravity that happened last night. As you turn around you find yourself in the bed of a women. the Door slams open and you nearly die from the pain in your head. The jarl is looking at you angrily and as your face turns white he breaks into his thunderous laughter.
WAHAHA! IMPERIAL! I am proud of you! Your not as puny as the rest of your people that much i give you. I hope you had fun with my daughter last night?your face turns white again.
JUST KIDDING! Its just another Thrall... you barely keep yourself from vomiting from the pain the thunderous voice of the Jarl produces in your head.
