I drink my tea black steaming hot and excessively. If I'm not drinking tea it's because I'm making tea. I used to drink it white but after I moved out I stopped getting milk since tea is the only thing I drink it with a now white tea tastes funny.

I can only stand milk in earl grey, the others just seem watered down and tasteless with it.

I swear we've had this thread before. Anyways, Coffee is on par with drinking black tar to me - and I'll avoid drinks with a coffee mix as such. Tea, however, is fricking amazing.

That's because over 70% of the forumites here are intellectuals who do not allow the barbaric bean-stew known as coffee to disrupt their sensitive palates.

They're both delicious, although I'll typically only drink coffee when I need a caffeine hit, and I just plain rarely drink tea (iced tea I'm not such a fan of, and I have a tendency to drink hot chocolate when I want a hot drink: honey + cocoa powder is great times). Energy drinks, though, gods damn are they delicious. As soon as I'm far enough off withdrawal that having any caffeine whatsoever won't immediately re-addict me, I'll probably go back to them (trying to limit myself to 2 to 3 a week, never on adjacent days).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I drink copious amounts of both.  Black coffee to get me alive in the morning, and then tea in the evening.

Tea, because caffeine is the damn devil.

I do love a cup of Turkish/Arabic coffee though.

Especially the way I make it.
I.e. brew two or three times as many teabags per given volume of water as normally called for, balanced by prodigious amount of sugar, and quenched in a pitcher of ice. Essentially I make like a tea concentrate, then rapidly cool, sweeten and dilute it all at once by pouring over a pitcher of ice and sugar. I had to switch to using decaf tea because I drink so much.

I drink both, but very infrequently due to a. expense and b. extreme jitter-magic.
A lot of oolong and some greens can be infused at least twice, so you can get a fair run of cups with just a bit of the stuff. Comes out a hell of a lot cheaper than coffee in the long run at least, especially if you just hit your local chinatown or whatever.

That's because over 70% of the forumites here are intellectuals who do not allow the barbaric bean-stew known as coffee to disrupt their sensitive palates.
I am also surprised by the coffee hate. I think it smells awesome and makes you feel nice when drinking it on cold days. I "ruin" it by sugaring and creaming like crazy, but I still like it as a treat now and then.

I like my coffee like I like my women.

Insert vulgar euphemism here.

Anyway.

I drink tea often, classic southern iced tea, but with less sugar and no ice.

I drink coffee occasionally, mostly with a lot of sugar, cream and chocolate.
