They both taste like s***. However, coffee can at least smell nice, sometimes.

Why "dip it over and over"? You don't do that with tea bags. It's just a mesh ball you put tea leaves in (you got that part right) and let it steep.
This reminds me of the first time I made tea, without any instruction whatsoever. That wasn't the exact method I used, but there was a fire at one point. I still got my tea in the end, though.

I think the dipping thing is just something people teach others because they're impatient for their tea. I got yelled at by all the Tea-O-philes in my family when they saw me doing it. They're right though. I think the tea comes out much more bitter/tangy if you don't let it steep.

The one that wasn't a ball could also have tea from a teapot (Made with Leaves) poured through it, taking the leaves out.

Coffee reduces the risk of prostate cancer.

Thus, coffee>tea.

You missed Mate. I'll forgive you, it's obscure enough. Though i more frequently drink tea or coffee, either one.

I'm certified as a barista, so obvi I do like coffee. That said, making good coffee is expensive. Instant coffee is kinda sucky, good coffee is rare and hard to find.

Tea, on the other hand can be easily made well by any noob. Just as long as they don't store the tea in the same thermos as the coffee, or reuse the tea bags (I mean c'mon, tea is already cheap enough without having to reuse bags, how cheap are you?). On the downside, you'd need about as much sugar as Coke has to make tea taste good, so it's not really all that healthy.

So... for most purposes, tea. Coffee if I can find a really good one, favorite is hazelnut latte.

This is untrue for pretty much anybody who actually likes tea.

Also, it is important to buy good tea. If you buy Lipton bags and the flavor is bad or inconsistent, you shouldn't be remotely surprised.

Teas can be very picky with temperature and steeping duration.

A lot of teas can resteep well, and some teas are actually encouraged to be infused multiple times, the second cup supposedly being better than the first.

Sugar isn't needed to make tea taste good.

Generalizing tea as the tea bag variety is like saying instant coffee defines all coffee.

Well, my mom makes me coffee so I'm good there :V

I swear whenever I make coffee there's always something I do wrong.

It's either it's too strong, too sweet, I put too little milk in, or something.

Although I'm not too picky when it comes to coffee (although my mom and my sisters are) so it's mostly good unless you want me to make someone else coffee.

lipton makes horrible tea.

The best "southern iced tea" tea is the cheap win-dixie store brand.
