Camp's looking nice so far...it would be a shame if it all got destroyed without even the slightest bit of resistance.

Long periods of silence with relationships like these are usually a bad sign. Camp romances, fickle things they are.

Dang it's been about a week since my last post. I'm almost done with the second quarter and I might even finish the third one tonight.

Edit: That was quicker than I expected so I'll just tack it on to this post.

Hematite

Our water cistern is almost done. We have to build walls and floors around it so the sea water doesn't seep in.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The training place is coming together too.

Malachite

The Diplomat is still following me around. The traders already left so I think I should stop hauling wood so we can get this over with.

Here's what he said Leenkis needs and how much they'll pay for it.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I've been trying to get the water into the cistern but nobody seems to know how to make an enormous corkscrew for a screw pump.

Galena

Another caravan got here right after a snatcher was chased off. Dang I forgot to ask for shale and obsidian from the last diplomat.

Plokokochangis and Jlububamber got of age recently. They're both peasants as expected so I'm going to have to find something for them to do. Hopefully I can find something where I won't have to say their names too often.

The diplomat says Leenkis doesn't have any obsidian so I guess we'll have to just trade for our weapons.

The rooms are turning out nice. Here I think I have a drawing of them somewhere.

Limestone

We traded for some nice stuff but we couldn't afford much. We need more stuff to trade.

Well since there's nothing to do I think I'll throw a party.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Dang it Srob why does he have to let his food rot in the main dinner place. I talked to him about it but he said he doesn't want to pick up something rotten "and beside I'm learning how to dodge."

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Sandstone

Hm, I need to start some kind of project. I think people might remember me by all the time I just spend fishing if I don't.

More migrants. Our total number is 54 now. That's quite a few mouths to feed.

Timber

Well another month has gone by. Still no ideas for my project.

The workshop area is getting a bit confusing. I'm glad I can just tell monkeyhead what needs to be made. Except when she's off drinking and or training.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Another caravan from Leenkis arrived. Let's hope we have enough to trade.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Shigodis is acting weird. Some people mentioned that this is what I acted like when I was making Thilamaisi.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He started working in a carpenter's workshop with only one log. I hope it'll still be valuable.

He finished it. He's now an amazing carpenter and we have a bin worth 2400. Why didn't I get any skill in stone crafting. This isn't fair.

I'm getting frustrated. Peeldis the trader just won't go to trade with the caravan. If he's not drinking or training he's on break. This is ridiculous.

Peeldis didn't let us down though. We got some decent stuff for what we brought to the depot.

I'm starting to get a migraine so tomorrow is more realistic for me to finish my turn.

I have to leave for work but I only have like 6 more in game days left and I'm almost done with the write-up. The last few days were pretty interesting so I'll leave you with a little teaser.

Moonstone

The traders left so Peeldis is back in his squad and I told him he can do what he normally does.

I rearranged the stockpiles a bit too.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Opal

Wow two litters of triplets were born at the same time. I think I'll have Spish carve them out bigger rooms.
Hm, their rooms were right next to each other's. I probably shouldn't tell people about that. It could start some nasty rumors.

The diplomat finally got around to sharing the trade agreement with me.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh, I think I'll have the miners dig out a nice office for me. I'm tired of meeting diplomats in the hospital or the main dining area. I probably won't have to meet any more diplomats... but at least I'll have a nice room.

Obsidian

There are like ten giant capybaras out by the tree line. I think it's time for our military to test it's mettle.

Plofrorber the marksbold is dead. And so is Sroblursnis. And Ploshlolmus. I've ordered a full retreat. There aren't too many wounded but our inexperienced doctors might just make it worse.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That was not good. The only injuries (other than the casualties) are Svarte's right hand (cut open) and Sifigibidus' missing hand.

I think that we need to train the military a lot more and we need more rangers.

I guess it's time to hand this mess over to GreatWyrmGold. Finally I can go back to fishing full time. I've missed the open endless lake.

OOC: Here's the save and the status of the fort currently.
