I could add a smoking pipe to my inventory, that would give us an extra 5%.

I'll join once I have read through the rules. I assume we are doing second edition.

EDIT: If I take a maul, can I let go of it with one hand and cast a spell with the other before grabbing the maul again?

The wind played gleefully over the shimmering fields, sweeping past flowers and plants and animals. But soon the wind swept not through plains, but through the bustling town of Netherport. The wind played with the tavern sign before rushing into a rather mangy looking dog. Through the oaken door lay a room full of high spirited humanoids of all types. Drinks were eaten, food was guzzled and much merry was made. The bartender sat on a stool of pure wood, ruling over the room as a lord would rule over his land. Kicking out anybody that started trouble, the bartender was a surly old dwarf. With graying hair covering must of his body. His young daughter serves as barmaid.

None of the PC are in the tavern, so post your dramatic entrance.
(Also nice evil cleric  ;))

Andre entered the tavern, another hunched shadow. This was the place, he was sure. Netherport...wonderful name. It wasn't as dreary as it sounded, though. The nightlife was great, at least.

He sauntered up to an open table and took a seat. Catching the barmaids eye, he said "Excuse me, my lady-can I get a mug of Thunderpod Punch?" he dropped her a charming wink "Make it a man sized mug."

"That'll be 5 gold pieces, no less." She pushes past your table with a slight shudder. Apparently the lass doesn't like halflings.

Swing and miss! He dropped 5 gold on the table and stretched out, awaiting his drink, and the arrival of the others. He hoped there were others at least. After all it was a mission of "dire importance". That's what they told him, anyway...

OOC: You should probably change the thread title, so everyone who's on knows we're starting.

Suddenly, all goes quiet. A group of rather measly clad warriors walk into the room. They wear a symbol on their chest, a purple diamond. They walk straight up to Andre, and the leader says, "Come with us, by order of the city watch." They seem to have an air of uncertainty about them. Are these really city guards? Or thugs wanting to kidnap you and hold you for ransom?

Looks like I won't be enjoying that drink after all, Andre though with regret, scooping up his coins. He smiled and asked "May I enquire as to the nature of this? Am I being charged with crime?" He figured if they wanted to kill or kidnap him, they wouldn't have of bothered talking first. Could Dali had tracked him down this fast? She was a tenacious and passionate, but not overtly vindictive-then again, she didn't have mercy for those that stood against her...

Either way, city guards were always bad news. If they knew only half the things he's done, he'd probably end up rotting in the city dungeons until the Lich came through and make the skies rain blood and tears. Which probably wasn't so far off.

"You have been accused of the illegal transportation of a concoction of Red leaf into the elven lands." He pulls out a simple pair of chains and make for your hands.

"It's Red MOON Leaf." Andre replied "Er, not that I would know anything about that..."

OOC: Two quick questions- How many of them are there, and does my character know about the main quest yet?
