The magic missile smacks into the guard (I'll assume that you had prepared it early in the day) blowing him into multiple pieces. Suddenly thieves rush in from all sides. They quickly kill the remaining guards and drag off the adventurers in blindfolds. All of you are packed into some kind of carriage, with hands and feet tied. A menacing voice with a slight elvish accent whispers that you should be quite or he/she'll slit your throat. Some time later the carriage comes to a full stop and the voice orders you out with a mean tone.

I fight with them as they try to take me.

[Dwarmin]

Andre jumped out of the carriage on order, and was prodded with the flat edge of a sword "Hey, I'm moving! Stick that blade back in your sheath ace." Andre fumbled his way forward, wondering why everyone was being JERKS.

He heard a scuffle behind him, and carefully backed away. Just the opening he needed! Hopefully no guards were watching closely...


Action: Using the fight as a distraction, Andre carefully tries to undo his ropes and then retie them only loosely-a common Halfling trick!

We've been plotnapped. I assume any attempt to resist will result in immediate and ironic death-which you would deserve, for trying to fight them all yourself.

Meh. I need to try. Plot napping is not something I want to be done to me.

Silerchain fails to break or loosen his binding and as such can't fight the guards properly. A guard smacks you for 1 damage to silence you. Andre loosens his bonds, but along with the others are pulled into a small building. Andre is pulled aside and enters a new room, his head coverings removed. Across a poorly build table sits the elf Andre had betrayed only days before, Lithe. Guards stand at either sides of Andre, armed with clubs.

OOC: You just got plot napped!

Also, her name isn't "lithe" thats a physical description. And she betrayed me! D:

The Halfling blinked a few times. Damn! She worked pretty fast for an Elf.

"Dali, nice to see you. You could of just sent a letter though-all of this for me, I'm touched. If you wanted some payback, we'll I tied you up and you fell in the river, and you had me tied and blindfolded. We can call it even, right?"

Andre was hoping this wasn't what he thought it was. Dali was rumored to personally be an "enthusiastic" torturer. Or at least employed someone who was...

Dali responds sharply, "I didn't save your ass just to dump you in the river or tie you up. What I saved you for is your ability to... Make things disappear. I do to your betrayal I got in a lot of trouble with the elven guard. Currently I'm being chased by a bounty hunter by the name of Hound. Kill him. I will also need 1000 gold pieces or equivalent so I can leave the country. If you accept then I will let you go after you have finished. If you do not accept, you will die. Your chose." She calmly leans back and stares at you with cold eyes.

Andre leaned back and laughed

"Smart plan. Either way, your problems take care of each other, right? Either "Hound" takes me out, and that's a witness out of the way, or I take him out and pay your fee, and your off. You must of fallen on hard times, to be begging for money and favors from a thief like me. Still, I'm willing to do it for you, Dali. I'd like to think we used to be friends, and a little bit more than that, if you remember that one night we spent together.... and it was you who betrayed me. Unless those archers you had waiting in the woods were for "self defense".

Anyways, I'll need some help to deal with the bounty hunter and get the money-other than whoever you send to keep an eye on me. What are you going to do with those other people you nabbed?

How dare you! I keep fighting.

Dali almost seems to be hissing with rage. "The other witnesses will be disposed of. Unless, of course, you need some companions to help you. But I won't take your word that you'll do this task. You'd rather save your hide and betray me at the drop of a hat. Thus, I've hired a cleric to place an extremely powerful spell on you, quest. It will make sure you finish this task, or die trying. You don't want to know what happens to people you disobey the spell." Suddenly a shrouded figure approaches and whispers a small prayer. Andre's body suddenly lights up like a Christmas tree, and then he feels a sudden urge to horde gold and knife somebody. "And of course any body you pick to help you will have the spell cast on them."

How dare you! I keep fighting.

You manage to rip the bindings as your shoved in the room. You punch one of the three guards in the room. The one you punched grapples on to you as the others beat you with their clubs for a total of 3 damage. You have been reduced to 3 HP.

OOC: Look at wrestling in the attacking section right after spells for your options.

"You know, you weren't always this mistrustful Dali...since you've got me in a bind here, I might as well show you how I undid my ropes" Andre finished, holding up his free hands.

"I'd prefer to save you the trouble of killing the others and ask that you let them help me.

Also, nice work, Priest. Your a testament to your faith...I guess your morality doesn't weigh on you as much as your gold pouch does." Andre finishes, grinning.

The priest replies arrogantly "I worship the god of greed."
