Uh... You mean the one that's already out? Because it doesn't seem like another will be forthcoming any time soon.

guess so...

anyway I've been making some improvements of my own to the script

will be adding a downwards auto tunneler to this soon, that will make use of some of the code that is already here but includes wood platforms to create a mine shaft...

Terraria <\/> Auto-Tunneler | Continuous Auto-Clicker | Directional Hold-Button Clicker | For 1920x1080 monitor

currently auto-tunnels left and right, continuous center click, directional hold-button clicker using the numpad

You can use rope in shafts that go straight down, and not need platforms at all (except possibly at the top).

I think you are right in saying ropes are the easiest way to go about it...

You can extend ropes upwards as far as you want.

Not sure why. If people want a new world or whatever let me know. Or if you no longer want the servers tell me that too so I can shut em down

That would be interesting.
Of we do, don't worry if you hear an explosion and/or screams in my general direction. It's all fine.

Just be careful of Hardmode. I made a small town in one of my worlds and it was a total deathtrap, even with walls, traps, mines, etc...

Ok, so after lots of cheating and dupeing items, I decided to start from scratch, and not use a single cheat tool or dupe exploit and whatever. (I however couldn't be arsed to kill Plantera with crummy items so I used the teleporter trick to get into Lizahrd)

Had a bunch of fun actually, started slow with my base ore armor, skipped building mostly other than keeping an area for my chests. A few days later and now I got spectre/chlorophyte everything.

The grind felt less awful than I remember.

So now, my much belated project starts (yet again): rebuild the entire castle from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. (lots of additional materials to build now, tho)

If I build 'palisade walls' around my house, will monsters still spawn on them?  Say I used wood walls.  Also, does light reduce spawning?  it seems so. . .

EDIT:  I built the wall and they seem to actually spawn more now.  Is it me?

I've done it, I've beaten Golem.

Now that I have most of the top items, I'd like to request the multiplayer server I.P.

That's how you do it, right? Just ask for the I.P. and you get a PM?

If I remember correctly NPCs will emit anti-spawning radiation that'll help to keep monsters away, which is the only way to prevent monster spawning. So building a palisade would do nothing to prevent monsters from spawning (but would help protect against monsters that have already spawned).

I've completed the pre-Hardmode grind, I just need to summon the damn WoF. Any strategies to acquiring more guide voodoo dolls? The game almost never actually summons it, because 'durr hurr grind moar'. Stupid bugs.

Unless it's changed between versions, player placed backwall will prevent anything from spawning where the backwall is, as well. Of course, that gives wraiths that spawn outside the wall something to float around on, but...

Presumably, if you backwalled a large enough area, nothing would be able to spawn while you're near the center-ish of it. Presumably.
