I'm trying to find an anklet of the wind for lightning boots, but I'm having a hell of a time finding shrines in the jungle. I've spent maybe 30 minutes flying through it with spectre/ivy/water bolt (to destroy vines and find more tunnels)/spelunker/night owl/shine and have found three or four total... and I don't even remember what I got out of those chests. Plenty of generic gold chests (vs. ivy chests surrounded by mudstone) with generic underground loot like hermes boots and bands of regeneration, so maybe I've stopped opening them.

Any tips? I've tried squinting at the in-game map to determine if I missed any on the periphery of my exploration, but although I can find the ones I found already, it's pretty hard to pick out any I may have missed (would be nice if torches maintained their own colour on the map, so I could see the green torches which mark shrines apart from my orange/white light torches). Found two hives and circumnavigated the jungle temple. There's still much, much more jungle to explore but it is pretty tedious.

Should I just load a mapviewer and look for them that way? Feels cheaty and I won't be able to avoid looking for other things .

There's no shame in just genning small worlds and spelunking them for Anklets.

that's a hell of a base, but how do you deal with blood moons and goblin invasions with that land based houses?

Well, I'm personally used to the concept of starting from scratch with a spawn house for each team and a chest with the gem buried underground.

But w/e, premade CtG could be fun, too.
i like this better then being boxed in. and may i have the ip for the hardmode server too?

What editor are people using to hack in items?  I'd like to do some testing on bricks and paint and whatnot and maybe some explosions for my own fun...

terrariainvedit 5.3 was the first to appear in my search. Haven't used it. Backup your saves, of course.

So, exactly how many NPC's will I need to make room for in my sky city? I'd like to get the whole thing built and organized before I kill WoF.
