Am I the only one who feels like he got his money's worth from Terraria? I spent many many hours with it. More than some AAA titles which cost more.
I did get my money's worth. I just don't like when devs sell me a vision of "I'll be with this game for a long long time!" and then the game I ended up with got 6 months worth of updates before the dev abruptly changed their tune. So yeah, I got my money's worth out of Terraria. I also haven't touched it months and months and months because there's nothing left to do for me, having built at least 3 garden worlds and done hard mode, yadda yadda.
If Red hadn't outright said he was going to stay with the game, I probably wouldn't be bothered by what happened to the degree I am.
Thats exactly why the player went volatile, not because they are entitled blablabla but because we were ALL told that he would stay and improve, improve, improve, add, add, add and he wasnt done with the game, then out of the blue BAM he is out. Its more because he literaly abandoned us because we all believed what he said. and then oil on fire, the game gets an update but not to the player he already abandoned, making us feel even MORE abandoned. Well i dont know if i managed to get when im thinking out correctly due to language barrier but i think you get the point.
Dont get me wrong, i love terraria but after a while, it get boring without content update because, to be honest there is not much content, feel like a bit more minecraft vanilla but thats about it. Open the game up to modding properly and this game will keep on living like minecraft does.
