WoF killing tactics?
Grab a demon scythe to mass kill the eaters quickly. A bow with hellfire arrows works when you run out of mana, just kill the fucking eaters.

Then just bust out your blaster and shoot it to death, I did it with normal shots. Potions also help a lot, I had water walking, obsidian, iron skin, regen, ranger and some others I think. Don't get feather fall, because it makes it impossible to dodge mid air.

Uh, is 1000 meteor shot enough?
I did it with I think it was 600.

But you gonna need that leftover ammo for when hardmode starts, so yeah, thats a good amount.

THE SWORD DOES NOTHING! MINIMAL DAMAGE AND BASICALLY NO KNOCKBACK!!!

And from then on I used guns, and suddenly I didn't feel so bad about the ranger badge drop.

5 accesories of the same kind is BS, but you can use Starfury underground nowadays. The stars that spawn in-bricks just fly through until they emerge and then slam against something solid.

They're easy at that point, but yeah they do. That'll be useful when you beat the Wall.

Well, wall of flesh beaten! It was actually pretty easy. used the fire flower to kill the hungries and then spammed the blaster. Got a Breaker Blade -which seems to be pretty useless- and the hammer. Thanks for the help, guys!

Okay, okay, so a floating turtle just vomited lasers at me and then unicorns and Navi and I don't even know what I'm playing anymore. This is amazing.

Breaker blade was fun to use going into hard mode. Ridiculous range, and actually has enough knockback to keep the new nasty stuff from getting into rape radius. Helps that the one I got had the "Massive" modifier, thus being even ridiculously bigger.

I really like the Laser Snails, if only because on Bloodmoons they amass in huge numbers outside my base. I feel really badass, just quickly opening the door, firing like a mad Rambo as a salvo of lasers careen into the opening, then closing the door, quickly talking to the nurse, and then repeating the process until dawn.

Like, really, if there were a way to antagonize blood moons, I'd have them every night.

I have an interesting situation in hell... For some reason I can spawn as many Mimics as I want.

I'd rather not though and start playing with everyone else.... but the game needs shared loot >_>

I fear going onto a server, taking down bosses with everyone... and getting nothing from it.

Ohh well back to the incredibly slow gathering of mithril... I can't seem to find sufficient clusters and I bet that is intentional.
