Guess I was right after all. There are no snowglobes pre-wall. That should clear things up.

Time to initiate operation Merry Christmas pt.2.

I've already found a snow globe pre-wall on Aklyon's server, so...

I also used a snowglobe on kael's server that failed to spawn snowmen.(maybe there was an update?)

There's  enough reports of pre-wall snowglobes that I can't deny there's something going on, some code path that generates them.

But I claim, I flat out assert, that they aren't generated by opening presents in a pre-wall world.  The code I disassembled is pretty clear.

There must be something bugging out in the code, making the present ignore the hardmode check, or causing certain values to get overriden or something like that.

I mean, there's just too much reports here that people received pre-wall snowglobes. Might be related to server lag and multiplayer.

Just speculating though, as I'm no coder (wish I was).

Just killed my first ever EOW, it's a whole lot easier than I thought it would be. Have they been nerfed or something? Because I'm only running around in gold atm and I destroyed it with no need of an arena.

Also, demonite ore Sergius? Sweet Mother of God.

EoW is pretty easy, definitely doable without an arena and with gold. Also it's probably demonite brick.

You know, why don't we build with ores? It might not actually look that bad oh who am I kidding yes it would.

Actually, not if you carefully encrust the ores with bricks. I found gold bricks to suit them well, if they're just small structures.

Hah, that's awesome. Much better than what i usually build, which tends to be either a rectangular skyscraper or a certain organ specific to male humans. Once built said organ out of hellstone bricks, and so tall that it reached up to a floating island, where i set up residence. Yes, my mind is unfortunately and permanently in the gutter.

Also, i'm SO going to fire up a winter world now. It will be GRAND and GLORIOUS, and i can build a candy cane phallus house now!

One demonite ore yelds 5 bricks, also I only used it for the outline, so it's not THAT much.

The interior is all obsidian brick and wall. Obsidian factory required, obviously.

I did this with hellstone ore and ash.  It had a use, too, instead of just being a monument.

I was trying to grind bone serpents for their rare drop.  (Pre v1.1, obviously.)  The phallic construction was the only way they could climb up to my location, which was just above a kind of tray I could drop dynamite into.  It worked pretty well, but I never got the dynamite timing down pat, so I lost money overall.  Got the Sunfury, though.
