Same place as the other two - they're randomly spawned though.
I found the goblin deep underground, and reports have shown that the mechanic is rescued in the dungeon. It's still all pretty spread about.

What does the wizard do?

Sells Crystal Balls - Magic buff
Blank Tomes - New Spells (ask the guide)
Music Boxes - records music
and greater mana potions.

There's some other stuff, but the essentials are there.

 After rocking with a buffed water scepter and noticing how mana drops are incredibly frequent, I may want to keep an eye out for this dude.

Ah, since I was the illiterate dope form earlier *cough* phaseblades: phaseblade + 40 Crystals (whatever those are) make PHASESABER!!-- new sword same color, adds +20 damage, other stats unchanged.

40 Crystals (whatever those are)
Crystal shards, to be more accurate. Grows like coral on underground pearlstone, only it can show up on any side of the blocks (not just the top) and glows.

Makes finding caves in the underground hallow easier than pretty much any other underground area in the game, actually. Underground hallow'd actually be pretty pleasant if it weren't for the freaking chaos elementals. Those things are a bit of a pain, if awesome to watch move around and murder things.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: if you want to dig in lava, drop sand or silt in.

Fun fact: the first time I saw silt I thought it was ash and thy I went to hell.

Unless it's daytime.

Anyway, there's a hole just to the left of the spawn that's safe to drop in (there's a sign), so long as you don't hug the walls and no one's messed with the water at the bottom. Leads to a staging area/safehouse where the NPCs hide.

Better than corruption, I guess. At least hallow's mostly harmless during the day. Sprites aren't that bad and unicorns don't spawn too often...

Seriously though, Kael's has hardmode going strong. You've got serious <reproductive organs> and a bucketload of dwarven ingenuity if you go in there without good kit and somehow manage to survive.

Hella' more fun than pre-wall, though. Post-wall is actually vicious, especially if you're not being careful or have less than impressive equipment.

 I have never messed with the hallow or hard-mode stuff yet as I joined the server. It's day and everything has inflated numbers, but it isn't TOO bad. I'll just duck down a hole and harvest some materi-

 Ahhhh it's a ghost get away ahhhh my torches went out why won't it die fuck this

 back to building an underground town in singleplayer in peace.

So I just cleaned out my dungeon. There was one chest that took me about a half-hour of stealing wire and obliterating skulls to find. It was worth it though - it contained the dungeon's only handgun. I now have a Deadly Handgun: +7% damage, +8% speed, +2% crits, +5% velocity and knockback. I also have a crapload of wire and 27 defense (w/ shadow armor) because of three Guarding accessories (obsidian skull, shiny red balloon, cobalt shield)

I like the new version and I haven't even gotten to hard mode.

I can't figure out how to make wrenches and wire cutters. I tried showing several materials to the guide, but no luck. Are they treasures that must be found?
