Ah, thanks to you both.

Also, had my first blood moon tonight. Wasn't so bad, aside from a demon eye that somehow spawned inside my house and attacked the NPCs. It helped that I had just forged some iron armor/greaves and a silver helmet.

Yeah, they're only an issue if you haven't been mining and making armor/weapons. Still fun to deal with.

Everybody is over-hyped about the update. I hope people won't lose interest quickly. I'm looking forward to it but I'll take it slow. No need to rush to the most powerful weapons and armor right away.

I thought the whole point of this game was to get the most powerful weapons/armor for free, then import that character into every new patch and complain that the game was too easy. Am I missing something?

I already hex edited my savefile to include the weapons that haven't came out with the patch yet.

It's there just waiting for the update and bam!

It definitely breaks the game because so-called easy to find high end items (mostly accesories) in the earlier versions of the game are actually high-end and difficult to get in the last version. I start a new character and a new world every 2-3 patches.

I made a new char for 1.04 (Olol), 1.06 (Omga) and now, for 1.1 (Alania)

I always start a new character with the patches. I have a friend to play with and I can run a server at the same time, and it's a lot more fun to play with two people.

Huh, didn't know you could mine demonite with copper depending on where it is.

I haven't changed my main world since before the golden chest update, which makes me miss a lot of cool stuff. Once the new update comes out, I'm going to gather all my valuable stuff and make a new world but with my same character and build a fortress.

Forgot to mention, I tend to keep a single world through all the patches to store my stuff in before I delete my old characters. I mean I don't want all those nice moniez and equips to go to waste.

Is there any plan for a (possibly limited) B12 server for the update?  If there is, then I need to get on there and start building phallus statues.

Depends on where he lives, but this might be a late post and it's 30 over there already. As for me, tomorrow (which is 2 hours from now) would be December 1.
