The potions are annoying. There's like 50 of those things! I filled up all the colors of ! and switched to the upside down ones. Bleh!

What about triangles for those potions in triangle-shaped bottles?

Alright, so some tests show that this will probably be more annoying than initially planned. But, that's good! Finding out now was crucial. Woot! Soon, walking Zs and flying Bs will assault you. Also, the Dryad is clearly an E. And funnily enough, the E will face forward and backward. But, this will need to be restarted, as images are annoying .

I'm going to start work on the NPCs. If anyone wants to do items, go ahead. Changing the item image sizes shouldn't matter too much, since they're only one image. Everything else is annoying.

There are two walls, a back wall which are just called walls, I think, and an actual wall which is a block.

What's the best weapon to use against the eater, assuming i've got pretty much anything. Is the harpoon better for its point blank rate of fire, or is the sunfury good because it mashes multiple chunks?

I have not played with the new stuff but my experience says the ball o' hurt is good if you can aim it well. The arc works very well when the eater turns downward at its apex.

I just dodge to the side and smack it with a sword a lot. Works fine and I hardly take any damage now.

The harpoon is not very good against the Eater. It does massive damage to big, single-target enemies, but the Sunfury/Blue Moon/Ball O' Hurt are much better at dealing with the Eater. The Vilethorn is also really good against it, but only if you have lots of mana.
The Dark Lance is also severely awesome against the Eater, but it's kind of hard to get.

I have found that the flaming gaysword is also very effective. just keep slicing at the head as it comes at you. You'll get it killed in nearly the first pass.
