I just use a bow with flaming or unholy arrows. I never used the flintlock. Throwing stars are great if they still pass through multiple foes. Ball of hurt had a too-short range for me.

I prefer a musket myself. Shurikens are nice for the little eyes it spawns, but once you get it down under 1400 hp, that stops happening and you can start unloading. The musket is a really good weapon for how early you get it, especially if you've got silver bullets. Hello 32 damage.

Yeah Eye of Cthluhu is interesting in the sense that it actually gets easier when it gets to loser health.

Yeah I only used a bow because I had unholy arrows to use up at the time and he kept showing up so I needed to kill him. Still, it did the trick.

 Unholy arrows work wonders on the first stage, and are still pretty decent on the EoW if your arms dealer is being stubborn. Considering you can make a demonite bow pretty cheaply everything works out.

 If only worm teeth were easier to procure.

I don't have any arrows of that type. Might just keep  diving for treasure unti I've some better gear then shoot it in the face.

TBH my favorite weapon for the EoW has always been the Vilethorn.

For me I like using flails on Mr.Worm. We were talking about Mr.Eye.

I found large reserves of lava! I now have about 1.5k obsidian. Nowhere near enough...

Sure I can make all the hellstone stuff (when I get the ore) but It's nowhere near enough for the obsidian skyfortress I want to make. It'll have a lava moat! I'll defend it with bombs!

I like to stand still, wait til he comes up, and when he does, cut his head off with a phaseblade. If you keep swinging, then you keep destroying the head, killing him segment by segment.
For EoC, I just shuriken-spammed him.

I used iron for both, because I couldn't find enough silver or gold until when I could start making jungle and molten.
