I created a large world and came across a straight up vertical wall of dirt on the extreme edge of one side.  It had to have gone up 600 feet from the ground.  I climbed it with my ivy and discovered the ocean was the cause of the big wall.  The ocean was on the top of it.

Sadly I wasn't thinking and deleted the world after my initial screw around with new features period.  It was tall enough that if I would have done it right I could have emptied the entire ocean over the world.  Hopefully the next world I gen will do it too.

Also, my world has three arenas now. Two combat and one racing arena. It's pretty cool, guys.

I got a spear, which makes hordes of skeletons and slimes not a problem. Bats are a nuisance though, so the pick is my best bet there.

I love the worldgen sometimes.I start a new small world, walk a bit and find a cave, spend the night exploring it, wasn't too big, but i found some blinkroots so that was nice.I go out and wonder to myself what should i do next, then i climb the nearby hill and spot some vines on top of the screen, woohoo first island found i climb it and make it my home.Then i jump off the next morning to go exploring, climb another hill, spot some vines on top of the screen, woohoo second island found

And corruption is really awesome now, i've found this maze like area with lots of holes tunnels and whatnot, and on the bottom there are some orbs and a crapton of altars, really awesome stuff, plus it leads deep down underground.

Hey, neat. You can grow potion ingredients (daybloom, at least) in clay pots. Seem to have to smash the pot to get your bloom and seeds back, but that's fairly minor for being able to set up an alchemy farm inside (without resorting to grass).

I have seen the hell of a new world.  Either I got a really odd hell or it has changed drastically.  The lava level is much much higher.  With a few ash platforms in the air.  Sadly I couldn't last long down there as I was out of potions and was trying to fight off some man eaters that had spawned on the only safe platform over the lava I had found.

Also, Night's edge.  Night's Light's bane+ blade of grass+ firey Greatsword+ Muramasa.  A little shorter than the firey greatsword I'm used to using exclusively, but damage is higher.  It also matches my shadowscale mail perfectly.

EDIT: More findings, during blood moon the gun merchant sells "silver shot" which is 9 damage musket shot, dryad sells corruption powder and corruption seeds.  I think the merchant sells special stuff too, but it was forgettable enough for me to forget what it was.  Demolitionist hasn't sold anything new to me yet.

You can grow blinkroot too, dunno about inside.

Found it in the rocky strata, it emits light, so it's easy to find. Probably needs to be grown around there too.
