When 1.0.5 comes out, I will be embarking on an ambitious quest - to replace the entire "surface" of a small world with demonic materials. Dirt and clay will become ash, stone will become hellstone, ebonstone will become obsidian (or demonite, haven't decided), water will become lava. I will be replacing everything above 0 elevation except for floating islands. My only problem is finding a replacement for sand. Any ideas? Also, demonite or obsidian for the corruption, and should I use the other one to replace normal corrupted grass?

I want something that would have the same general feel as sand, so it would probably have to be a soil of some sort...

Or mud. I actually like the idea of making my deserts jungles and replacing the normal jungle as if it was all dirt.

Just thought of a new enemy that would be awesome in Terraria.

Magma Crabs.

They'd be invisible while in magma, and then, while you're just minding your own business, mining for some obsidian, it jumps up and proceeds to claw you.
That would give us some enemies, actually fitting to the magma level. What do you think?
