It sucks that wood won't burn, whether from lava or weapons.

At one point, she also said something along the lines of "I've seen bigger... Wounds, that is"
Gotta love the nurse!

Also, flying ships seem quite popular. I think there needs to be more sea ships. Gen a world with a high ocean, and flood an area. For bonus points you should only dig down in areas with water, using water-locks or something. Perferably flood the ENTIRE world with water with multiplyers or something. That'd take a while however...geez, we need map editors for this kind of thing!

if terrafirma can read the map data, you can probably also write it. flooding the world could be as simple as turning the top 20 or 30 tiles to water, fluids settle on load IIRC so it would probably rain down properly.

Or building a huge version of the triangle that's used to multiply liquids, starting at the top of the world. It'd be even easier if there was a way to quickly dispose of tiles (say, water until you're done, then magma over it to burn the contraption).

Of course, this would only work on multiplayer, even if you're the only one connected to your own server.

Of course, if you burned the contraption with magma, you'd then have magma raining down and adding an obsidian sheet across your new ocean.  :-\

(Oh god. This might be the first problem I've encountered that can't be solved with magma!)

Apply more magma, then the problem will be solved. (By burning you up in magma.)

then make a second multiplyer and repeat until you have a giant OLW (Obsidian Lava Water) Sandwich. To make it even more dwarfy, drain the water and replace it with MORE LAVA. It'll be the most dwarvern inedible, deadly lasagna ever.

Let's see Garfield chow down on that.

Ok, I'm a little disappointed. My area has no caves and has large corrupted areas on both sides making it nearly impossible to pass through.

Next is that you have to walk too far away from your spawn to reach new stuff. Take minecraft for example. You had multiple new directions to travel in because it was 3D, so you have to walk at least 7 times the distance in Terraria to find new stuff.

And then I found out you lose money when you die... a lot of money.

So I am in my world with a nice little town built and some starter stuff that I don't want to lose. Yet I am surrounded by deadly terrain in which I can't pass less I lose all my money (urg I just realized I can put the money in a chest, o well, continuing), and I'm not digging a mineshaft till I hit stuff.

So here are the questions.

1) Can I bring my guy and all his items over to another world?

2) Can I turn off money loss at death?

3) Do I need something other then that special powder to cleanse corruption?

4) How to you place sunflowers?

I have the ability to generate water (or lava) at will. In theory I could attempt to flood the entire world, although it might take a while.

I have two screenshots here demonstrating it with lava (on a local server):
http://steamcommunity.com/id/trafalgar/screenshots

(Filling the entire map at once is probably not the best idea due to the fact that telling the server to generate a lot of liquid (e.g. more than a few tiles) at once causes large amounts of lag, as in the server can't handle the strain)

P.S. Placing your money in a piggy bank is the best way to protect it.

How would one do this?

...

3) Don't even need that. Just use a pick, dig it away.

don't forget to lay down stone at the edge of the corruption you dig away so it does not spread back out to infect the fresh dirt.
