Well the difference is. When you run out of ammo for a weapon, it switches to the next available stack.

When you run out of ammo from a thrown weapon it is gone.

Losing a whole weapon during a fight (which will happen. 99 ammo is a low amount in an intense fight) is quite jarring.

When I'm throwing 99 bones at a target, I expect it to either die or be running away! And when it stops running away, I expect it to kill itself out of shame for being such a coward, because only cowards would run away from bones! Unless those bones are a skeleton!

Against some enemies Shurikens are the clear victor over slightly more (And slower) bow damage.

Namely against enemies with flesh walls such as the Eye of Cthuhu, Eater of Worlds, and Skeletron (mind you. it is probably still too weak against Skeletron).

If you like fire arrows that much just get a molten bow and use regular arrows which then turn into fire arrows. Me and 2 other people with flamarangs were able to down Eye of Cthulu and Skeletron fairly quickly with all three of us just using that weapon. For eater of worlds I use my sunfury or use feral claws and shadow armor for lots of attack speed on my muramasa.

I have no idea how to get the molten bow, adn I use a bow because I always fight where I cna win with a barrier between me, and the monsters, but that allows me to still hit them. ( I also use grenades for blood moons since the zombies group up in groups of 5 to 8 )

For the leaked version (the one you're playing) you need meteorite ore to make the molten bow and molten pickaxe, IIRC.

You really have to get that far before you can start taking bosses with the bow.

Or if you have TONS of Unholy Arrows.

The Minishark is actually a lousy weapon itself unfortunately. Mostly because of its low damage output and high-ammo use.

Sorry I say things in my head a lot... so I don't realise when I repeat things most of the time.

Though yeah its upgrade is great especially if you create collectors.
