I thought he only dropped the ore, but not the scales, so you can only get lights bane, and the bow, and maybe some others.

He dosen't drop any ore. He drops corrupt seeds which can be used to corrupt an area. And they grow those plants that hurt you and vile mushrooms.

So far I have two NPCs not including the guide, and they are the Merchant, adn the Demolitionist. How do I get the other ones?

Make hammer. Go to Dungeon. Pillage books on shelves. Be happy when you get Water Bolt from one.

Basically, with some luck, you can get first spell 5 minutes after entering the world.

@adwarf: You get Nurse when you raise your max HP, Arms Dealer when you find a gun, and Dryad when you kill the boss.

According to an earlier post, putting water bolt on a shelf reverts it to a generic book. That sort of implies you could grab all the above-ground dungeon books and if you don't get water bolt, just put them back and try again.

Mostly books for decor, but there's always a small chance that instead of normal book you will get Water Bolt book. And I usually find them before even going 100ft down.

Well... Dungeon Scramble has its Entrance.
A Minor change that may happen is putting NPC shops on both sides due to MP allowing for multiple NPCs if conditions are met.
Green Vs Blue.

Chose your side, save your spawn, go into the Depths of the Dungeon to Corrupt their Heart, while keeping yours Pure.

The current problem with this system is that you can easily change sides after death, spawing at the top, going through an NPC home to the other side to enter closer to their Heart Room then normal. Getting Multiple NPCs may change this if everyone gets an NPC. The Entrance down the bottom (below Dryad's Room) is actually not finished. Dryad may actually be removed from area due to the fact that Ebonstone is the Filling tool for corrupting a Heart...

Could you make it so that both teams can access the same NPCs without entering their rooms?  I haven't ever tried to talk to one through a wall before, but you might be able to just trap them in a 4x5 box so they will never be out of talking range from either team.
