Heh.

I mined a ton in my world (in which I don't even have a house yet) and made gold things. I'm yet to find a chest on that world though. I think i'm close to lava too...

My upgrades were hammer: wood - gold
                          axe:      iron - gold
                          pick       silver- demonite.

We're going to go through hell. I superflooded it back when I thought it was a good idea...

Oh, and just as I was about to leave for a night goblins happened. We went to the skybridge and killed them all. The Big Ball O pain is still my best weapon, specially for groups and devourers of worlds'.

Granted it's not a super-mega-lava spewing-bridge that you guys are undoubtably used to... We use it to collect stars.

I use a simple glass walkway to look for floating islands. After I find them, it becomes my iCthulhu fighting arena and falling star catching area.

I could have killed him if day hadn't broken but still, I managed to drop his health down to 300.

If you can get a flamarang Skeletron's easy.  Ball O' Hurt isn't a bad substitute, and Sunfury would probably be even better than flamarang.

THe only boss I can't beat without dying at least once is the Eater of Worlds.

Just finally solo'd skeletron with thorn chakrum, full shadowscale, and ~15 health pots.
