A small one-tile column of sand that blocks a small water reservoir, with a one-tile opening in the ground. The ground is a sheet of sand suspended on cobwebs hanging over a giant pool with water level just low enough not to destroy the cobwebs above it. Sand falls through the opening, water follows, water level rises, cobwebs fall, whole sand floor falls, everyone on said floor falls, hopefully lacking rocket boots or flippers. Usage of magma optional.

Or wait, I though you were talking about deathtrap design.

...I must build this. It hadn't even occurred to me this game supported deathtraps.

What would you guys say the best weapon in the game is, in general? Currently I'm in full shadow and using the Fiery Greatsword. I'm grinding Bone Serpents for the Sunfury; is the Sunfury much better then my greatsword? Also, is full Molten Armor better then full Shadow?

Weapons are all pretty relative if you ask me. Best going by damage is obvious. Best by functionality and accessory combinations? Less clear cut but still pretty obvious.

The only thing shadow has over molten is the attack speed increase which isn't a big deal compared to the huge amount of defense Molten has.

I use Muramasa purely because it's okay and I don't have to click a bajillion times and disturb my neighbors at night.

Anyone know of a more reliable lava duplication technique than the one on the wiki? Filling 22 buckets up on a precarious ledge while being shot at by dark casters gets old fast.

You forgot that the Flamerang also, in a similar fashion to the ball and chains, instantly refreshes when it strikes an enemy. This allows you to take down entire groups with it.

In fact it makes the Wiki's suggestion to intentionally miss so it will hit everyone in the path... a bad suggestion.

Since it has more then enough fire rate to strike down an entire group with just its own fire rate (if you don't miss).

As well its wide area allows you to use it to intersect attacks.

 Doesn't work with more than five enemies coming straight at you though. And intentionally missing can still wreck worms.
