Yeah, shurikens are awesome and very cheap. I've killed the eye boss when I had 100 hp and had iron armor.

How do you create beds in hell/underground? my rooms big enough but its not working..

Build the background wall without gaps. It works perfectly.

Skeletron? A good bow or a boomerang. Better to have two players though, I often don't have enough time during the night to solo him. He cannot kill me though because he is very easy to dodge.

Well, technically, I could too, but I always end up mining until I puke run out of healing potions. It's ironic that it's more economical in this game in terms of time to keep going until you die, rather than using a magic mirror, or gods-forbid actually climbing up. That's assuming you're not currency-farming, in which case you could still just bring a chest down and then keep running over to put your cash in until you need to restock.

I usually drill vertical shafts to hell, so getting back up's pretty easy.
I'm avoiding dying as much as possible

 Cloud in a Bottle seems to be a requirement for Skeletron. If you can avoid the head when it spins you it can be a simple fight, only healing when the hands nab you.

As far as I can tell, dynamite is the only way to remove naturally occurring walls.

I usually drill vertical shafts to hell, so getting back up's pretty easy.
I'm avoiding dying as much as possible

Getting up with jumping=~minute
Dying=10 seconds
Magic Mirror=5 seconds
The fastest way is magic mirror (with jumping being a distant third), but if you do that, you miss out on the extra stuff you would have gotten before you died.

Anyone know of a decent way to farm Devourers?

I go to multiplayer servers and check the stockpiles. There is always people who travel the corruption, collect a bunch of crap and leave it in the public chests. I think the worm boss also drops them, unless another player just decided to drop like 20 worm teeth after fighting it.

I now have the balloon and a cloud in a bottle. I barely need to use the grappling hook anymore, I just jump.

And the worldview program is really cool, you can see all the little tunnels you have dug.
