You mean you've done this once or twice, right? Because the game hasn't been out long enough to start up a tendency.

I did it on Tuesday morning at about 1, yesterday morning at about 3, and about six hours ago.

Wow, goblin armies are easy on single player. Just took the whole thing on, used 3 potions, never died. Got rocket boots, a harpoon and about 9 gold. Went for a fly, found a floating island, got a spare horseshoe. Yay!

I wish Eyethulhu would leave me the Hell alone.  Every other night I've been getting that watching feeling.  The last time, I tried to be clever and maneuver into an arena-type area, but I knocked around by his spawns and got stun-ganked in a cave.  I think I managed to get him down to about 2600 HP, and that entailed burning through four Health Potions.

So when I hear that people are wandering around in silver armour after ten hours, I think 'Well in less then an hour if you do X Y and Z you could be in shadow! And then it is no time at all to necro."

I don't suppose you'd feel like sharing X or Y or Z?  Because this is definitely a game where there is no shame in reading a guide or the wiki, because almost everything has multi-part, large quantity crafting requirements, or triggers, or can only be found in certain places, and so forth.  So yeah, I don't know how to get to any equipment that isn't made of the mundane metals, and apparently every piece of equipment worth wearing requires either Meteorite or Demonite, and acquiring either of those requires the other, as far as I can tell.

Find dynamite->Blow up the ebonstone above a shadow orb or by a demon altar->Buy more if necessary->Make a suspicious eye or wormbait->Summon boss->kill for demonite->use demonite for a pickaxe with which you can mine the meteorite which should've landed.

Oh, and get some obsidian for the skull first. Else you can't mine the stuff.

It's that "summon boss->kill for demonite" part that's going to give me trouble.  Without the God-Tier equipment you guys run around with, I don't see how it's possible to do 3000 damage to that damn eye without getting instakilled by spawns first.

Combat would be a lot easier if you could switch between selected-slots without waiting for the current animation to end.  The delay can still be there, just as long as it recognizes that I want to switch while a sword is still swinging.
