Yes.
Yes you can. This game makes greifing into sport. There is another boss even easier to summon, as you don't need to worry about corruption, that you can get very fast in the game, a lot faster then people can be ready for. You could cause a lot of trouble with early game summon bosses.

Can you do this...say in a nice house another person built? Or at least close enough to cause them some trouble? Because if so that would make me very happy.

Eater of Worlds can only be summoned in corruption, else when you use the Worm Bait, you'll just die instantly from nothing.

You could use it in the corruption and lure the worm, to them.

Put corruption seeds near there house.

So... definitely need to try PvP.  Have beaten Eye of Cthulhu and Eater of Worlds multiple times and Skeletor once.  Have never died to a boss so far.  Underworld was a challenge at first.  I died 5 or 6 times while mining for hellstone, and then finished my full set of molten gear.... and now the only real hazard in the underworld is getting knocked into lava.  I kinda feel like I beat the game already and it has nothing interesting left to throw at me.

So... starting over and genning a new world to play with friends.  Going to carry over nothing but building materials, and make a neat castle first thing.

And I think it's time to start making PvP challenges.

Yea, medium worlds are bigger, and large worlds are huge. As it it takes a lot of time to walk from one side to the other, and to dig down to hell. Things are further apart, and there is more corruption/jungle/floating islands/other cool stuff in bigger worlds, but it takes longer to find.

My first guess would be the player count? We start to see some serious desyncing after 3 people. Not frequent, but slimes and eyeballs start teleporting.

Might be a memory leak too?

Edit: No memory leak so far, Task manager reports it at 435,434K Memory with no change seen yet.

You know, a Dirt Rod would probably make it a lot easier to look for islands- just drag two blocks up, and use them as platforms.

It may take a bit longer, but you don't use as much mana (presumably) as flying around with the rocket boots, and you don't have to worry about meteorites being wasted on sky-bridges.

Can bosses spawn deep underground? I just got the message "You feel an evil presence watching you" deep underground, and geared up for a boss fight yet I haven't seen anything, is it stuck somewhere?
