What's intense? Fighting Eater of Worlds in chasm, then teleport back home only to get a blood moon and Eye of Cthulhu, and next morning, a Goblin Invasion

I just had something similar (but less good). I set up a heist on Skeletron's pad (I'm nowhere near tough enough to fight him yet; I've only got one Demonite item), at the bottom line hoping to steal a rod I saw just before I got killed by him the last time. I get to the dungeon just as the sun sets, and it's a Blood Moon. Less than a minute later I'm frantically running away from Skeletron and... "You feel a evil presence watching you...". I grab the rod, warp back home before I get crushed, and immediately engage the Eye in a rematch atop the glass dome of my silver-brick temple (he got away from me the first time).

Edit: Oh, and I assume people have figured out that you can attack in both directions at once?

Yea, I have a fair amount, after we flooded hell there was plenty to go around. Loving this molten armour. Feel like a tank with by +10 def bonus. Although I still miss my meteor armour, and it's great mana bonus that allowed me to fly across the skies.

Don't worry, I keep all armour sets with a stat bonus. It is in a box back at home, but I'm going to hell now, and need to be ready.

Hell, that world alone could supply all of b12 with molten gear.

Me, Box(Calhoun), Thendash, and Silent Thunder dug all the way to hell. We all got moltens picks, Box got a flamerangm then we went to the sky islands, Box got a ballon, and I got A STARFURY. Useless underground. And a cloud in a bottle which caused Box to rage. And Cthulu 5 times in a row.

Got full molten gear now, except for the bow.
Need to find me some decent artifacts now

I still need the sword and the gun. I have a better sword, and I don't use guns that often, but it is good to have the set.

Anyone having any luck with Shooting Stars, I could be on the surface all night and only see one in a blue moon. I only have 2 Mana!!!

I might try hosting my PvP idea tomorrow morning if people are interested.
What we will need for it is this.

2 Of each Magic weapon.
4 of each of the Melee weapons in Gold.
4 of the Pistols/Muskets/Miniguns (or two Miniguns if people wanna donate for the match)
Enough Ammo to fill the Inv.
Enough of Stone and Wood Walls and Backwalls to fill an Inv.
Potions like no ones business.

If no one wants to help guess what I will be doing tomorrow...

I'm willing to help out, if I have time, not sure I will.
Rather then just saying 'Here is your gear, go for your life!' you could build a coliseum and hold matches in it. You could even go so far as to build one below ground that has a few platforms and a fall into magma and one under water with a few air pockets, making for strategic combat.

Although it would take some time to build the world.
