What's intense? Fighting Eater of Worlds in chasm, then teleport back home only to get a blood moon and Eye of Cthulhu, and next morning, a Goblin Invasion

Intense fighting is awesome, full demonite equipment, but I also got rocket boots so what should I do?

A) Fight Skeletron and loot Dungeon.
B) Pimp myself with stars and rocket myself to look for Floating Islands.
C) Dig down and get to jungle/hellworld.

Basically I will do all three, but I will let you guys pick what will be done first

Yea, this really strikes the right chord with the b12 community. True, DF will always be the flag we salute, but this is also something we are willing to adopt as a symbol of the b12 community, just like the MC server.

I just had the biggest UH DERRRRR moment in Terraria.

I finally figured out how to build safe houses underground. People have explained this to me before, but it didn't really make sense. Then I was watching the Parallax scroll my and it struck me. The only true "back wall" in the entire world is the dirt layer between the sky and the start of the underground. The dirt and stone and hell background you see underground is just like the sky, it's an illusion.

Ergo, the only thing you need to build back walls underground, and therefore underground safehouses, is an edge to start from.

I'm still face palming like an hour later.

I finally figured out how to build safe houses underground.

Have you got a mirror yet, so you can teleport back to them?

Something useful I figured out (besides placing a new background underground to make beds work) was that if you wanted to teleport back to the default spawn point (center of the map or whatever it is) later, you can just deconstruct the bed that is your current spawn point (and if you like you can put it in your inventory). Deconstructing it will reset your spawn point, so you can use a mirror (or save/disconnect) to go back to the default point instead of that location.
