Does it still count towards NPC requirements if the torch is encased in glass?

I'm getting a new computer for christmas, meaning everything stored within this one will be erased, besides few save games and such (that can't be downloaded)

Does Terraria store the worlds only locally? If yes, I gotta back them up too.

Cursed torches work underwater. But they're all green.

FTFY :P

Also disco balls. Everywhere.

E: You could also use crystal shards, maybe. Dunno if they work for NPCs, though.

Cursed torches would give it a cool ghost-ish feel too

Chunks of Meteorite Ore. Very low light level, very ghostly. Hurts though.

It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

She did mention that cursed torches pop off after a while, which wouldn't be super good for permanent residences. However, i believe this list will be very useful in that regard. c: (SUPER WATERPROOF CHANDELIERS, GO)

Soo close to defeating WoF, it was at ~800 health when I died. Man, the sence of accomplishment in this game is amazing.

Cursed torches never popped out for me, but then again, this is pre-wall, so it might be tied to the corrupt/hallow mechanic, or so the wiki said about it.

Honestly he is a LOT easier then he seems... you just need to make a pathway for the fight and weapons that can strike multiple enemies.

Also the Leeches are there to replenish your health.

My world seems to have a bit of a bias. Most of the interesting features are to the right of spawn. Let's keep a tally. To the left: jungle and one meteor. To the right: both corruption areas, two meteors, and the dungeon.

I'm proud of this save. It's my best yet. I've got every demonite item that can be made, I've fully mined two of my three meteorites, and I've got a nifty purple phaseblade. Speaking of which, purple phaseblades and shadow armor look nifty in conjunction.
