That NPC hint thing wasn't really necessary. Aside from their prerequisites, all they need is a chair, table, door, a torch, and a completely manmade area and they're set for their little electronic lives, no real guesswork there.

Also, doesn't someone around here host a Terraria server? I saw it on a thread but I don't know if it's still active or not.

Kael's server, yeah. Thread's either on th'first or second page, heh. A little empty sometimes, but there's a few people that come in and out as the day goes along. I built a torchsea there, whee.

And yeah, future NPCs with special reqs will seriously be benefited from that change. Doesn't the clothier already need a loom? Never actually bothered to get th'bugger, so I don't really know

I don't think he does. But yes this would be beautiful.

I noticed a mention of a collector's edition. As a man who bought it on release, will I be missing anything or is it just full of ineffectual fluff?

It said there'd be an ingame item but I doubt it'd be anything too crazy.

Tbh I might buy the collector's edition, just because this game deserves the extra payment. It's already added far more than I ever thought they would, and the next patch sounds insanely helpful.

Just played for a good 3 hours with friends on a world I made....probably back before the last major patch. Figured I'd stock up on materials for the update. It was kind of fun re-exploring my own world and finding half a dozen outposts scattered everywhere, and not remembering half of what I'd built. As one friend put it "Damn it, this game is just stupid good fun."
