You can have both of them in your accessories slot, I'm not sure why you'd think they're combined somehow. I have them both in my current game and it acts the same way the video portrays.

It's been hinted at on terrariaonline that both items are upgradeable and/or combine-able somehow. Along with several of the other accessories, presumably to make room for the new ones being added.

According to one person that's my buddy and also, let's say, a 'helper', there's 90+ items (furniture, weapons, potions etc) as of today that were added.

When was the expected release date going to be again? I heard November/December, but I forget where from.

So I am trying to grow some of the rarer plants in my game, namely firebloom and Waterleaf (or what ever). I've got them in pots on the ground of my green house and I have lava and water(respectively) in the square with them. My question is does the water/lava need to actually touch a part of the plant, or is it enough that the pot is in the the lava/water?

I think the plant has to be submerged, but I might be wrong. First try the pot only, and if that doesn't work, just add more water/lava until it blooms.
