My bad, I swore I saw a potion buff there with a sword icon.

At any rate, I think we may have a use for the up key finally.

We had a real life Blood Moon up here last night, it was pretty cool. I love Blood Moons, both in game and in real life. ^_^ (Though for different reasons, obviously!)

Oh, also, I had this great idea for a two player challenge thing.

Basically, on a map (where neither player has a pickaxe), there are two tunnels, one above the other. To enter the tunnels, Players need to go in and hit some webs with a sword, sealing the entrance behind them. You'll need a player in both tunnels to get through.

There's a chest on top containing a dirt rod, and a whole ton of magma immediately starts heading down the tunnel on bottom. (Which is mostly stone, but with bits of dirt that need to be move out of the way for the guy to get by.) There's also spikes on bottom, and pits of magma, like a little challenge course, and sections where he needs to drop sand so the person on top can get by.

Meanwhile, guy on top needs to use the dirt rod to unblock doors and clear the path for the bottom guy before the lava kills him, and they both need to get to the final area to unblock the door.

I think it would be pretty cool, and I'll probably build it when I get some free time. Sand+liquids+web is really the key to mechanics and puzzle stuff in this game.

Any thoughts on PVP? It's pretty boring when everyone has god-armor and star cannons, so I was thinking maybe we could come up with some rules. Like magic-only, or different categories where you can't use anything better than the name (demonite, gold, maybe even wood, and open of course).

On the topic of magic: Anybody else digging the new spell?

What new spell? The ore one? Yeah, that one will be extensively useful.

It looks to be pretty high damage, and piercing, possibly even through walls.

So something that lets us fight back against the enemies which can fire through walls?

Assuming it's high damage and it can fly through walls, that would be a great endgame spell.

Usually, the game's spells become useless when you get the muramasa.

Pierces, but not walls. Alchemy trailer thing was pretty explicit about that. The crescent crumbles when it hits a wall. It does seem to hit fairly hard, though, and seems somewhat spammable, at least for short periods.

Would be nice if it could pierce up to five enemies. Flamelash, while having nice damage, is kind of useless due to 2 hits and it's gone. At least that thing could be used as a surface scanner.

Spammable especially when your multiplayer character has 100,000 mana, which restores at a rate of about 2000 a second
