Hammer should work.
Also I've heard than npc's don't like sharing walls. May be true or not, since I don't have the game and so can't test it myself.

The thing about walls is that (as you've probably seen) a wall tile will show up a bit on all the tiles surrounding it (preventing you from placing a different wall there), as well as the one it's on. You have to make sure you're hitting the tile that the wall's actually on.

So my roommate has been playing Terraria obsessively with his equally, if not moreso, obsessive friends. They have built quite the store of awesome loot and equipment, and have thoroughly pillaged their everything-in-the-world, and vanquished every boss character.

Long story short, now my roommate is planning a practical joke where he builds a large magma duplicator/reservoir on a floating island conveniently placed above his friend's home-castle, and then somehow convincing his friend to stand on the topmost portion of his home-castle, and then dumping the entire reservoir onto him and his home.

I look forward to witnessing this spectacle.

They already have a thousand.

Which was our single spawn limit.... 1000. FYI - Base game spawn is 4. And our spawn timer was 70 times shorter as well.

Just get soem grenades more people, adn invite them in for a rousing game of baseball.

FYI, those were out of order. I helped you clear out the bottom room, THEN barricaded the doors.
