Mothron drops the broken hero sword after all mecha bosses have been killed, it drops the eye of cuthulu after plantera is dead, along with a chance of Mothron wings.

spent a whole day fishing for crates, got like 12 iron, 14 wooden, 2 frog legs and the zephyr fish, along with 100+ bass. didnt get much metals from it but got two ginger beards, several tsunami in a bottle, a tartar sauce, two anchors, 55 gold and other coins. and several potions.

will see if i cant get the rare fishes from the biomes. mostly for the weapons.

Your fishing power tilts the drop table, so getting better gear should push you towards getting better crates.

spent a long time fishing in the crimson. didnt found the bladetongue. madea few fishing runs in the hallowed snow, got the crystal serpent....also got it to mythical in a few reforging runs, went to search for more adamantite, planning to gather it for the mage set and see if i can kill the destroyer with magic weapons. the extra defense should help me a lot.

havent found much adamantite so far, but got the gladiator breastplate from some hoplites, no medusa head though. as for other underground stuff. the skeleton merchang was selling the enchante lantern. so there goes my new pet.

planning to destroy more demon altars to see if i can get more metal. its not enough right now.

EDIT:

upgraded the phaseblade to a phasesaber with legendary modifier.

found enough adamantite for a full set, at least magic focused. with the whole set and the accesories get 62 defense. and the magic weapons dish a lot of damage. need to test it against bosses. got a mechanical eye and mechanical worm from farming mobs in the underground hallowed ice with a marble biome. also completed the gladiator set. got a demonic amarok and bought a gradient.

frost staff was also obtained. and the party girl has come.

EDIT 2:

put a peace candle in the arena, and it was raining, teste the magic weapons against angry nimbuses but didnt get the rod. after the rain ended a goblin scoute apeared. first i see in the whole patch.

Did they remove water duping? All the old setups don't seem to work for me anymore.  :'(

Changes in water physics mean there's new setups, and even those aren't as effective :(

Pumps & stairs seem to work well.

Ok, I just got enough Luminite for a set of armor, now I have to think which one to make, to farm Moon Lord on normal to make the rest. My strategy is using the Daybreak when in range, spamming Chlorophyte bullets when out of sight and sometimes emptying my mana bar with the Nebula Blaze.
Usually the chlorophyte ends up doing the most constant damage, and now I got the dolphin gun thingy, so I suppose I should go with the ranged armor set?

The ranged set gives the following to ranged:
  • +36% ranged damage
  • +27% ranged critical strike chance
  • +25% chance to not consume ammunition
  • +10% movement speed
and that's without mentioning the controlled stealth effect which allows you to move slowly, activate it at any time for the following effects:
  • Near-invisibility
  • Decreased chance that enemies will target the wearer
  • +80% ranged damage
  • +20% ranged critical strike chance
  • Decreased movement speed

Note: Ammo Consumption rates are multiplicative.

Get the ranged set, and go farm moony some more. If you wish to go hybrid with minions, you can swap the legs for Stardust leggings, allowing you to expand your stardust dragon to three segments, strong enough to crush things within a few seconds.

Well, I refined my arena and strategy for fighting the moon man.
Now I have nothing to do.

They work the same. Mostly.

The biggest change is that you can't link one input pump to several output pumps any more but that's remedied by having one input pump per output pump. As for manual setups, all the usual suspects still work from what I've seen. So the pyramids and the stairs and the autoclickers all work.

Edit:

Here's an example of an automated liquid duping system:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Basically I tried to make it as small as possible. One thing I've noticed is that duping is a lot harder when your pump is on the right hand side as opposed to the left. For example, that first lava section fills about 1/2 as fast as the second one (the one next to the honey). So if you want to optimize setups, I recommend you make all your pumps be on that side. This system has the side benefit of being an obsidian / honey block generator but because it's so small it's a bit hard to use.

Here's another example:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That setup with the lava there fills up very, very fast. It has 4 input pumps on the bottom and 4 output pumps at the top there. I recommend this setup. I did the same for the giant honey lake. The only thing about honey is that it needs a 3-second timer as opposed to a 1-second timer because of how slow it moves.
