We're at the point where we can kill WoF on Ispil's server, once everyone's ready. Gonna farm SP some more, 'cause Moondude's droprates are too low.

droppers are aesthetic "blocks" and they will make that neat liquid drip effect that appears occasionally on blocks with liquid above them. i am unsure if the single use is intentional. i am unsure if you need liquid above but i don't think so.

... oh. That... that's not nearly what I was expecting. Explains why I didn't notice anything, though. I was hoping for, y'know. Water. Infinite water, without trying to finagle water duping. It would make fishing tremendously easier >_>

It definitely doesn't need water above it, though. Just checked the spot my dropper disappeared at, and it's dripping just fine off an artificial structure.

you could always do the anchor water duping, pretty easy and not much of a hassle

A patch just dropped and the server isn't updated. Can't play right now.

Do the planter boxes actually do anything?

They don't need blocks under them and act as platforms but otherwise they're the same as a clay pot.

The plants they're designed for grow quicker in them, and give greater yields (seeds), however. Still worth the silver invested in them.

At least, that's what I noticed when farming last night.

In the cases of deathweed, it's self-contained, and you don't need to worry about corrupting your land to grow deathweed. Speaking of which, someone ought to purify the little patch of land I corrupted to grow it at base.

Are you sure they grow quicker/better? All I have seen is that they behave exactly like pots but are counted as furniture and can be placed more easily

I just got my server up.  In true Dwarf fashion, the base is to be established atop an icy tundra 8)  If anyone is interested, just drop me a line.

Well, being soloing thru pure Expert, but after killing Eye and Eater, and dying multiple times (I finally managed, good thing Eater doesn't despawn on player death as long as you have a spawn bed in the corruption) I'm not looking forward to trying to kill expert Skeletron with Molten-tier gear. I'll probably switch to normal now and overlevel/hardmode so I can kick his ass more easily.

Randomly exploring worlds. Stumble across a small cave located just under the ground, found an Enchanted Sword...

I feel as though killing the Slime King by bouncing on him with the slime mount should be an achievement, alas it is not.  Why the hell is this update so insanely awesome?
