Silly question

Can you look at Legends whilst you how a Dwarf Fortress game going? I want to have a look but don't want to abandon to look at how many kills a random goblin got.

Also, can you do it for adventurer as well?

If so for either of those, how?

You could duplicate your savegame-folder, abandon your duplicated fortress and use this for legends.
